Two symbols with different jobs

A precise definition makes the screen easier to read. Wild helps form ordinary line matches. Scatter is counted across the grid to trigger particular features. Their artwork, purpose and availability differ by mode. Neither symbol appears in the classic three-reel game, so the home-page paytable has no substitution or Scatter rule. A mode’s own paytable remains the reference for its awards. Keep the current domain in view when checking saved information.

Wild substitutes for paying symbols

A precise definition makes the screen easier to read. In five-reel games, Wild can replace cherries, lemons, bells, BAR, sevens or diamonds in a consecutive run from the first reel. The engine also checks a run of Wilds against the Wild row. Only the highest qualifying award is retained for each line. Read the active cabinet’s rule panel when applying this explanation. The visible interface identifies the feature currently in use.

Wild cannot become Scatter

Start by identifying what the number describes. A visible Wild does not count toward the three-Scatter trigger. This is true even if it sits next to two Scatters or appears on a path crossing them. The separate roles prevent an ordinary line substitution from silently changing feature-trigger probabilities. A mode’s own paytable remains the reference for its awards. Additional context is available in the site’s related guides.

Wild Slots adds a multiplier

Use this point when reading a result. Wild Slots doubles a qualifying line award when its matching run contains a Wild. The same extra multiplier does not apply to Video Slots, Bonus Slots or Practice Mode. Check the cabinet name and its rule panel before assuming a doubled amount. A mode’s own paytable remains the reference for its awards. Review the relevant page before using another mode.

Spin slots

Respins can preserve Wilds

The distinction matters when comparing games. Respin Slots has an independent one-in-40 trigger after a paid spin. If triggered, every visible Wild stays locked for one free respin and other cells are redrawn. Keeping the Wilds changes the second grid's distribution, but the second result still needs qualifying lines to pay. The examples describe virtual-credit play within this release. Additional context is available in the site’s related guides.

Scatter finds a whole-grid trigger

This is part of understanding the current release. In Bonus Slots, Hold & Collect and Pick Bonus, at least three Scatters anywhere in the paid grid trigger the corresponding feature. A Scatter has a 2% chance in each independently drawn cell in those modes. The count is not restricted to one Scatter per reel. The examples describe virtual-credit play within this release. Review the relevant page before using another mode.

Do not add an unstated Scatter award

This reference concerns the supplied Slots games. These games do not pay a direct Scatter-only credit prize. Ordinary line awards are settled first, and then the triggered feature supplies its own subsequent results. Collection symbols receive values after the collection feature begins; those values follow its separate rules. The examples describe virtual-credit play within this release.

Use the result panel to distinguish them

One useful detail is explained below. The result explanation names a Wild when it contributes to a paying match and reports when a feature starts. A feature counter or tile choice then shows the action available. This provides a clearer interpretation than judging a bonus solely from the reel artwork. A mode’s own paytable remains the reference for its awards. The visible interface identifies the feature currently in use.
